Spring is fast approaching and what better way to pamper your skin than with a new box full of skincare products?

The box is designed to boost your routine with protective antioxidants, moisturizing and brightening products, and a super cute hair tie!

First up we find a relatively new star in the range, Soft green cleansing balm . It is an oil-based cleanser in balm form that melts on contact with the skin. An oil-based cleanser as the first step in the cleansing routine is an important part of the Korean routine as it effectively helps to remove excess sebum, make up and SPF. Oil cleansers come in different forms such as a liquid oil or like this one in balm form. Balm textures often have a more solid form that melts into an oil on contact with the skin.

Hyggees balm has a lovely sorbet-like texture that turns into a silky oil on contact with the skin, which eventually turns into a milky foam. The cleanser is formulated with Tea tree complex, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and works to balance the skin.

The balm also contains Green super food complex which helps strengthen the skin barrier and helps maintain moisture levels in the skin.

The cleanser is suitable for all skin types and is a great first product in your cleansing routine. Apply the cleanser to dry skin, massage in and emulsify with lukewarm water until it becomes a milky white consistency to effectively remove make-up and SPF.

After the oil-based cleanser, it is important to follow up with a water-based cleanser, partly to remove any oil residue from the previous cleanser but also to really be able to cleanse the skin deeply. A water-based cleanser is good to adapt to your skin type and current skin condition.

In the box we also find the big favorite Tea tree purifine 30 cleansing foam which is loved by many! The cleanser is formulated with 30% tea tree extract. Like many of Dr. Ceuracle's products, the name can reveal how much of the product's main ingredient is contained, which in this case is tea tree. Tea tree is a popular ingredient in Korean skin care that has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It has a balancing effect on the skin and is often suitable for more combination or congested skin.

The cleanser contains several balancing ingredients such as witch hazel and baobab extract, which have a deep cleansing effect but also have a pH balancing effect.

We also find the ingredient Centella asiatica which is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Morus alba root extract comes from white mulberry and has antioxidant properties and is rich in flavonoids. It also works soothingly and has smoothing properties.

Another product included in the box full of Seoul is the Supple preparation toner 30 ml from Klairs. In Korea, toner is an important part of the skincare routine and it helps to hydrate and prepare the skin for the next steps. It also helps the other products to be absorbed better but also to balance the skin's ph value after cleansing.

Supple preparation toner is a popular moisturizing toner that is best patted/pressed gently into the skin using the palms of your hands. If your skin needs an extra boost, you can pat in several layers and use the 7 skin method which is often used in the Korean routine which aims to apply thin layers of moisture in several layers to saturate the skin with moisture. Or why not make your own sheet mask with, for example, cotton pads soaked in the toner and placed on the face for a little extra moisture!

The toner contains many moisturizing ingredients but is also rich in antioxidants, including centella asiatica extract which has a calming effect, licorice root which has a brightening and smoothing effect. Other ingredients are soothing panthenol and betaine but also moisturizing and moisture-binding hyaluronic acid.

Yuzu vitamin c sleep mask is a brightening and moisturizing mask with a lovely gel texture.

Yuzu fruit contains 3 times more vitamin C than any other citrus fruit and is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals and works to smooth and brighten. The ingredient is often used in Korean skin care for its antioxidant properties. Sleep mask also contains small pieces of the fruit which are part of the texture of the product.

Some other key ingredients in the mask are:

• Niacinamide - (vitamin b3) has a balancing effect on the skin and works to even out

• Ascorbic acid – Brightening antioxidant, protects against free radicals and has a smoothing effect

• Ceramides - Has a repairing, nourishing & moisturizing effect on the skin

• Retinol – The mask also contains a smaller amount of vitamin A, which is a cell-communicating ingredient that boosts collagen and elastin production and has an anti-aging effect .

• Peptide complex – The mask contains which is a consistent ingredient in their range. The complex consists of 7 peptides that work in symbiosis with each other and has a peptide formula that promotes the skin's natural regeneration process.

 

Spotlight brightening sheetmask is a hydrating sheetmask that helps the skin with moisture and radiance. Sheetmask is a complement in the Korean skincare routine that has become a popular step for many in skincare. Sheetmask is a disposable face mask and is soaked in an essence where the purpose is often to provide quick hydration to the skin or work on various skin conditions such as soothing. Spotlight brightening sheetmask is formulated with, among other things, blueberry, licorice and lotus extracts which are rich in antioxidants and help to help the skin with radiance and also work to smooth. It also contains Saccharomyces fermet which is a form of yeast that boosts the skin and also has soothing properties.
